Advanced All-Terrain Outsole
GripTec A/T uses Tahma’s exclusive GripTec rubber compound to deliver exceptional slip resistance while still passing SRC testing standards. The aggressive lug outsole is specifically engineered for muddy and debris-filled environments where traditional outsole designs can quickly lose traction.
The outsole features angled 45-degree lugs with wider spacing between them, allowing mud, crud, and debris to release with every step instead of packing into the tread. Many traditional lug designs use 90-degree angles that trap material inside the outsole, reducing traction and increasing buildup in demanding conditions.
Extreme Cold Weather Protection
GripTec A/T is rated for comfort down to –50°C/F. Tahma’s LO BULK insulation keeps the foot warm without excessive weight or bulk, while 2mm SBR/CR neoprene insulation in the shaft adds additional cold-weather protection throughout the boot.
Purpose-Built Fixed Shaft Design
Unlike Tahma’s fisherman and brewery styles, GripTec A/T is intentionally designed as a non roll-down boot. In environments involving mud, manure, snow, and heavy debris, many workers do not want to handle or roll down contaminated boot shafts during the workday. The fixed-shaft construction provides dependable coverage, warmth, and protection in harsh outdoor conditions.
